Fortnitemares Part 4 Challenges Guide

Fortnitemares Part 4 Challenges Guide

It’s all led to this point. Part four of the Fortnitemares released today, bringing with it the final six challenges for the event. Completion of all six of the challenges included will unlock the Dark Engine glider. The last six challenges are nothing new. Chances are you’ve done a few of these while simply playing the game. Of the six provided challenges, only one of them can be considered difficult. Thankfully there is a method to making sure this challenge is as easily mopped up as the rest of them. Here are the final six challenges introduced with part four of Fortnitemares.

Destroy Elite Cube Monsters
The first challenge tasks you with defeating 10 Elite Cube Monsters. These monsters tend to appear a lot more frequently when you’re in the process of damaging the cube fragment they spawn from. There are two types of Elite Cube Monsters. The Elite Cube Fiend is a stronger version of the Cube Fiend. They are identifiable by a little bit of orange color irradiating from their purple body. There is also an Elite Cube Brute, who also carries the orange irradiation on their giant purple body, but these enemies are bullet sponges compared to the Elite Cube Fiend and should otherwise be ignored.
The Elite Cube Fiend can take anywhere from 3 – 4 shots to the head to destroy. The easiest way to cause them to spawn would be to shoot the cube fragment. Its possible to get as many as one – three of them to spawn doing it this way. You only need to eliminate 10, so this challenge will complete quickly. Here is the creature you’re looking for.

Damage Cube Fragments
This challenge goes great with the previous challenge for defeating the Elite Cube Monsters. All you need to do for this challenge is simply damage Cube Fragments (The big purple rocks the monsters spawn from). You’ll be required to deal at least 2,500 damage to Cube Fragments. Thankfully the Fragments have quite a bit of health, so this challenge will come very quickly, especially when combined with trying to destroy three of the Cube Fragments per another challenge on this list.

Deal damage to Cube Monsters in a single match
You’ll be required to deal 1,000 damage to Cube Monsters in a single match. Okay, seriously, is this really even a challenge at this point? It takes about four shots to the head to destroy a standard Cube Brute which depending on your weapon can deal 60+ damage. That’s 240 damage right there. That’s not counting the Cube Fiends you destroy along with it. If you only specifically target Cube Brutes, it will take destroying four or five of them to complete this challenge. Combine that with the damage dealt with Cube Fiends, and you’ll have this challenge in about one to two minutes.
Visit different Corrupted Areas in a single match
This challenge can easily be considered the hard challenge of the lot. It tasks you with visiting four different Corrupted areas in a single match. These Corrupted Areas are spread out pretty evenly, so unless you have a few Rift-to-go’s or launchpads, you’ll need to travel mostly on foot. The best way to do this challenge is to start at the Corrupted Area by Greasy Grove. Land here and loot a chest if possible to arm yourself. Grab a shadow stone and begin heading to the Corrupted Area just north of Fatal Fields. The Shadow form lasts for 45 seconds, so there will be a time your character will become human again. Once you reach Fatal Fields, grab another shadow stone and head north to the Corrupted Area just northwest of Salty Springs. Finally, once you reach this location, grab one last shadow stone and make your way to the east towards Retail Row where the last Corrupted Area awaits. Step inside the Corrupted Area, and you’ll see the challenge progress. Finish the match, and the challenge will complete.

Destroy Cube Fragments
You’re required to destroy three Cube Fragments. What makes this challenge a little annoying is just how much damage is required to destroy a Cube Fragment. Using regular weapons will destroy one of these in time, but what can help to destroy it even quicker is explosives. Grenade or Rocket Launchers work best, but if you don’t have one handy, throwing Grenades into the crevice between the fragment and the ground, or just sticking the fragment with clingers will destroy them rather quickly. Combine that with regular weapons damage, and you’ll destroy one in no time at all.
Complete Fortnitemares Challenges
For the sixth and final challenge of the Fortnitemares event, players are required to finish 14 Fortnitemares challenges across the four challenge parts. There are a total of 18 Fortnitemares challenges in the game. That being said, with the entirety of the event’s challenges being cake, this challenge should be pretty simple to complete in due time. If you are missing any challenges from the previous parts, be sure to check out those specific guides down below.
Part 1 | Part 2 | Part 3
Note: This challenge is presently bugged and only counting challenges completed today, not challenges that have already been completed. Epic Games are aware of the issue and are presently working on a fix.

Fortnitemares Part Three Challenges Guide

Fortnitemares Part Three Challenges Guide

It’s always very strange to see something released for Fortnite Battle Royale on a Sunday of all days, but today, part three of the Fortnitemares challenges have unlocked. Four new challenges await players in-game, and all can be completed in 45 minutes to an hour depending on your luck. Completing all four challenges in part three will reward you with the virulent flames contrail. Two of today’s challenges are all based on tasks you’ve done plenty of times in the past two parts, along with two other challenges that we’ve seen before in the battle pass.

Destroy Cube Brutes
For the first challenge of this week, you’re tasked with destroying Cube Brutes. Of the two monsters that spawn from a cube fragment, Brutes are the bigger, tougher looking ones. The challenge asks you to defeat only 25 in total. This challenge will take you no time at all to complete. If you’re in an outside area not near the circle, you can expect to complete this challenge in as little as one to two games.

Deal damage with Explosive Weapons to Cube Monsters
For this challenge, don’t stress trying to find a Rocket or Grenade Launcher. This challenge can be completed simply with some Clingers or regular Grenades. Just round up a bunch of monsters near you, drop a grenade and run back a bit. Once it explodes, it will eliminate any monsters. If you happen to take any damage, you’ll be rewarded back shields for the monster kills. Continue to round up monsters and damage/destroy them with grenades until you feel you’ve done enough. Then proceed to finish the match as normal. The damage will accumulate at the end to show your progress.

Search Chests in Corrupted Areas
Yet another challenge tied to the Corrupted Areas all around the map. This challenge asks players to loot seven chests from Corrupted Areas. In total there are seven Corrupted Areas around the map. The easiest way to get this challenge done quick is to land at a Corrupted Area that’s off the beaten path from the bus route. Corrupted Area chests spawn randomly. There are a total of two chests that can spawn at a location, though sometimes you’ll only find one spawned or worse than that, neither spawned at the location. You can attempt to head to other nearby Corrupted Areas in hopes that they were not looted. Think more about how popular the nearby locations are. If you land at the Corrupted Area by Pleasant Park and manage to get a chest, your best bet is to head Northeast to Lazy Links as opposed to Southeast to Greasy Grove, as Greasy Grove is a much more popular hot drop. Here are the locations of every Corrupted Area.

Stage x: Visit [Location Name]

The last set of challenges are in stages, and simply ask the player to visit various locations around the map. There are three total stages to this challenge, which means you’ll need to visit three different locations in three different games to finish this challenge. Stage one asks the player to head over to Wailing Woods. It’s easier just to land there, and potentially at the Corrupted Area within in an attempt to collect one or two of the seven chests you need for the other challenge. Afterward, simply complete the match, and you’ll be awarded stage two.
For Stage two, you’re going to want to head to Fatal Fields. As with the previous stage, you’ll want to head to the Corrupted Area just north of Fatal Fields and continue to try and get the chests (if needed). Afterward, simply grab a shadow stone and fly over near Fatal Fields. Once you get in range of the location, you’ll complete the challenge. After the match ends, the third and final stage will be unlocked.
The third and final destination to visit for this set of challenges is Haunted Hills in the northwest corner of the map, right below Junk Junction. Sadly, there is no Corrupted Area near this location, so you’ll simply want to land in or near Haunted Hills to complete the challenge and then play through the game as normal. As long as you properly complete the match, you’ll be rewarded after returning to the main menu.
The fourth and final part of challenges for the Fortntiemares event is set to unlock on Tuesday. This set will bolster six challenges to complete, and players will be rewarded the Dark Engine glider as a reward. It’s still unclear if all six challenges will need to be completed to unlock the glider or not. Be on the lookout for that guide on Tuesday.

Fortnitemares Part Two Challenges Guide

Fortnitemares Part Two Challenges Guide

Part two of the Fortnitemares event challenges have unlocked and with it four more challenges for players to complete. Completing all of the challenges included in part two will reward players the Deadfire spray. Of the four challenges, only one is really new. The other three challenges are unfortunately challenges you’ve seen already, whether in the Fortnitemares part one challenge set or in basic Battle Pass challenge weeks. Here is a look at the newest challenges.

Destroy Cube Fiends

Similar to the challenge presented in Part one of the Fortnitemares challenges, which required you to destroy 200 cube monsters, this challenge asks you to specifically target and destroy 150 Cube Fiends. Of the two types of monsters that assault you, Cube Fiends are the slimmer of the two monsters. Unfortunately, you will need to deal with the Cube Brute’s as well, and they just won’t count for the challenge which will make it seem like the challenge is progressing very slowly. You should be able to accomplish this in no more than three to four games. Here is the specific monster you’re looking to destroy.

Deal damage with Shotguns or SMGs to Cube Monsters
As with the part one, part two will have you dealing damage to all Cube monsters using two specific weapons. Part two asks you to deal damage with both Shotguns and Submachine Guns to Cube monsters. You’ll need to deal out 5,000 damage. To complete this challenge fast, you’ll want to stick with blue weapons or above. A Rare pump Shotgun or Epic Heavy Shotgun work perfectly in dealing large amounts of damage in short bursts. Any Submachine Gun is good for the job as well, though the Compact P90-looking SMG (or the Tony Horton as some call it) packs the most punch.

Eliminate opponents at Corrupted Areas
If this challenge seems familiar to you, that’s because it’s actually a challenge that was presented in Fortnite Battle Royale’s season six week four challenges, the only difference being in the wording. This recycled challenge requires players to head over to one of the seven different Corrupted Areas on the map and eliminate three players. This challenge is accumulative, so not all three need to be eliminated in one game.
The one thing you’ll definitely want to do is land at a nearby location to grab weapons, ammo, and shields. If you head straight in, an opponent could potentially beat you to a weapon, and it will end badly. Arming yourself at say Retail Row, and then heading into the corrupted area nearby afterward assures that you’re well armed and you may have shields to help you survive a few hits should you succumb to damage.

Destroy a Ghost Decoration in different Named Locations

For the final challenge in part two, players are required to head to seven different named locations and destroy a ghost decoration. These decorations can be destroyed by anything, but the challenge MUST be completed in a Fortnitemares playlist. This challenge cannot be done in Disco Domination. This challenge can be completed in one game, but most likely, dealing with the circle it may take two or three games. Ghost decorations can appear on streetlamps, or in ceilings of buildings. Look around, and you should find them quite quickly.

Fortnite Season Six: Week Five Challenges Guide

Fortnite Season Six: Week Five Challenges Guide

Welcome to week five of Fortnite Battle Royale’s sixth season. This week sees the return of some challenges from season five, along with adding in a new unique challenge for players to achieve. This week’s challenges will still have players dealing damage with specific weapons, as well as eliminating opponents with them as well. The hardest part of this week will be finding the specific weapons needed for each of the challenges presented. That being said, if you have trouble getting the eliminations needed with some of these weapons, it’s highly recommended that you try the Disco Domination game mode. Not only will you respawn if you are eliminated, but you keep your inventory of weapons as well. Here are your challenges for week five of season six.

Record a speed of 27 or more on different Radar Signs
The first challenge for week five asks players to drive through different Radar Signs throughout the map. Chances are you’ve seen these before, as they started appearing near Paradise Palms last season. Running or driving past one of these signs will display a speed. There are two different methods for completing this challenge. You’ll know you’ve achieved the correct speed as you’ll hear a police siren and the challenge will add progression. You can complete more than one of these Radar Signs in a match, so you’ll want to continuously drive to the next location. The map below will show the locations of every Radar Sign.
Quadcrasher – The Quadcrasher is the new ATV that seats two people. It can be found in various spots throughout the map. Using this vehicle is the simplest way to hit a speed of 27. Simply drive towards the Radar Sign, hit the boost (LB) and you’ll speed through. Be sure you hear the police siren and the challenge progresses.
ATK – The ATK is the golf cart style vehicle that seats four people. This can be a little bit more of a challenge to completing the Radar Signs but is still achievable. What you’ll want to do here is use the drift (LB) to drive in a circle near the Radar Sign, once the boost turns yellow or red in color, make sure you are lined up and let go of the button. The boost will carry you through past the Radar Sign and complete that particular location. Be sure you hear the police siren and the challenge progresses.
Note: The Shopping Cart is NOT an ideal choice for completing this challenge as it will require you to build a ramp to gain the proper momentum needed.

Jump through flaming hoops with a Shopping Cart or ATK
This is a challenge that we’ve seen time and time again. You first find your vehicle of choice, then simply drive up a ramp and through a hoop. These challenges used to be a lot more aggravating as some hoops wouldn’t have a ramp nearby, requiring players to build-up. Most of the flaming hoops now have their own ramp, and players can still build their own ramp if they find difficulty in using the pre-set one. The challenge specifically says Shopping Cart or ATK, however, players can use the new Quadcrasher with its easy-to-use boost mechanic to easily complete this challenge. Here are all the locations of flaming hoops for season six.

Deal Damage with Tactical Shotguns to Opponents
The first of two stage challenges tasks the player with dealing damage with a variety of different shotguns. The first shotgun you’ll need to get your hands on is the all but famous Tactical Shotgun. This thing can be found just about anywhere and is available in common, uncommon, and rare variants. It doesn’t matter which variant you use, simply deal 200 damage to opponents with a Tactical Shotgun, and you’ll have completed this stage of the challenge. Here is the beauty you are looking for.

Deal Damage with Pump Shotguns to Opponents
The other most common shotgun to use is the Pump Shotgun and the second stage of this challenge. The Pump, just like the Tactical, can be found just about anywhere. This weapon also comes in common, uncommon, and rare variants. Simply deal 200 damage with a pump shotgun to one or more opponents and you’ll finish this stage of the challenge. Here’s what to keep a look out for.

Deal Damage with Heavy Shotguns to Opponents
The third and final stage of this challenge asks players to deal 200 damage with Heavy Shotguns. This specific shotgun only comes in Epic and Legendary variants and can be a little harder to find. There is a possibility you can find this weapon by opening a chest, but your chances are much higher if you open Supply Drops or look in Epic or Legendary vending machines. Once you have the weapon in hand, simply deal 200 damage to opponents, and this will finish the challenge completely. Here’s what to look for.

Eliminate an opponent from closer than 5m away
This challenge is easiest at the beginning of a match, and most likely with a shotgun. We get it though, floor drops don’t always play to your favor. If you happen upon a Submachine Gun, be sure to aim for the head for maximum damage at close range. Trying to complete this challenge with an Assault Rifle is doable but can be difficult unless you have a blue rarity or higher. The best way to finish this challenge would be to grab a weapon before an opponent in the same room and eliminate them as they’re next to you. You’ll need to eliminate two enemies from closer than 5m to complete the challenge. There really is no need to try for this challenge, as it will come naturally while completing all the other challenges this week has to offer.
Deal damage with SMGs to opponents
There are only two Submachine Guns left in the game, and both will work for completing this challenge. The Compact SMG is obviously the better choice as it has reduced recoil and faster fire rate, but using a basic Submachine Gun can easily deal the 500 damage required to complete the challenge. The better bit of advice for completing this challenge is to pepper the trigger, don’t hold it. Once you achieve 500 damage to opponents you’ll complete the challenge.

Minigun Eliminations

This will possibly be the hardest challenge of week five. The Minigun spawn rate from chests is high, but the weapon doesn’t appear near as much as you’d want it to. Consider opening 62 chests total before finding this weapon. There is also the option of searching Supply Drops as well which have a much higher drop rate chance for a Minigun. Once you get the Minigun in hand, you’ll need to eliminate two enemies with it to complete the challenge. It’s HIGHLY recommended that you down an opponent first then finish them with the Minigun. The reasoning for this is the Minigun takes a bit to spin up, and opponents can flank you easily as you’re mowing down their teammate.

Deal damage with Standard Pistols to opponents
The final challenge for week five is another stage challenge. The first stage asks you to deal damage to opponents with the Standard Pistol. What this means is you’re going to want the item that’s simply called “Pistol.” Using a Suppressed Pistol will not count. Nor will a Hand Cannon, Dual Pistols, or the new Six Shooter. This weapon comes in common, uncommon, and rare varieties so you should find it quite frequently. Simply deal 200 damage with this pistol to opponents, and you’ll complete this stage of the challenge.
Note: Finding this weapon in Disco Domination is either impossible or just very rare. It’s best to stick to a base mode (Solos, Duos, Squads) if you wish to find and complete this stage.

Deal damage with Hand Cannons to opponents
Stage two asks players to deal 200 damage with Hand Cannons to opponents. For those who may not be aware, the Hand Cannon is simply Fortnite’s version of the Desert Eagle. The weapon uses heavy ammo and packs a punch. Dealing 200 damage with this weapon will come quick, as one shot is 50+ damage depending on where you hit your opponent. If you have trouble locating the item, be sure to check chests and vending machines of Epic and Legendary rarities.

Deal damage with Suppressed Pistols to opponents
The third and final stage of this challenge asks players to deal 200 damage with Suppressed Pistols. This challenge is a LOT easier when you consider that the Suppressed Pistol now comes in a rare variant. The pistol is very quiet and can snipe opponents rather well from a distance for 30 – 40 damage. If you want to take the more direct approach, Shooting an opponent up close in the head with this weapon will do anywhere from 40 – 50 damage depending on the rarity. Simply deal out 200 damage and the challenge is yours.

Fortnitemares Part One Challenges Guide

Fortnitemares Part One Challenges Guide

With the release of the Fortnitemares limited time event just in time for Halloween in Fortnite Battle Royale, the event has also brought with it new challenges. The challenges for this particular event shares similarities to past events, but also now has a few differences. Fortnitemares will include four sets of challenges throughout the time of the event. Each set will unlock only a few days after each other. Completing all the challenges in the set will reward you the cosmetic item listed. The first set of challenges will reward players with a green ghost sticker, should they complete all four of the challenges.

Destroy Cube Monsters
Since yesterday’s update, players can now find monsters that spawn from cube fragments around the world. This challenge simply asks you to destroy 200 of them. This challenge is pretty simple and can be completed quite quickly. The best weapon to use to defeat monsters would be the new crossbow, as its silent and won’t give away your position. You could also use an assault rifle or pistol to combine this challenge with the next one.
Deal damage with Assault Rifles or Pistols to Cube Monsters
Highly recommended you use the Silenced Pistol or Suppressed Assault Rifle if you find it. The best thing about defeating these monsters is that they frequently drop loot, which can help you keep up on ammo reserves, or just grant you a better weapon altogether. You’ll need to deal out 5,000 damage to monsters. It’s not presently known exactly how much health monsters have, but since you need to kill 200 of them anyway, you’re guaranteed to complete this challenge long beforehand just as long as you’re using an Assault Rifle or Pistol when doing so.
Visit a Corrupted Area in Different Matches
This is already a challenge that has been presented in one way, shape, or form in one or more of the weekly challenges. For this challenge you simply need to visit one corrupted area in a different match, seven matches total. There are seven total corrupted areas, but the best thing about this challenge is that you’re welcome to go to the same corrupted area in every match you play. Simply walk near or into the corrupted area and you shall receive progress. Now complete the match and the progress will save.

Dance in front of different Gargoyles
This challenge is very simple, yet can be a little confusing as well. If your immediate thought was to fly to Haunted Hills and dance in front of the gargoyle statue found in the fenced area, then alas you’re mistaken. There are new Gargoyle statues hidden around the map. There are a total of nine different statues to dance at, players simply need to head to five, and dance near them to add progress to their challenge. This challenge can easily be completed in one to two games. Here are the locations of all the Gargoyle statues that count.

The second set of challenges is due out tomorrow. Today also sees the release of week five challenges for season six of Fortnite Battle Royale.

Fortnite Season Six Challenge Guide

Fortnite Season Six: Week Four Challenges Guide

Fortnite Season Six: Week Four Challenges Guide

Week four of Fortnite Battle Royale season six presents us the opportunity to kill some of the boredom that this season has brought by completing challenges. This week, there is one word that describes the challenges presented perfectly, and that word is tedious. Players will not be required to loot any chests, but there are quite a few challenges that do require players to head to various locations around the map and perform menial tasks for challenge completion. Without further ado, here are your week four challenges for season six.

Use a Port-a-Fort or Port-a-Fortress in different matches
At the present time, the Port-a-Fortress is disabled and unable to be found in normal matches. That being said the only way to gain progress on this challenge is to come across a Port-a-Fort. These are most commonly found in treasure chests, but can also be purchased from rare (blue) vending machines. Simply throw the Port-a-Fort down, and the challenge will add progression. Only one Port-a-Fort can be used per match for progression on the challenge, so it will require five or more matches to complete the challenge entirely.

Search an Ammo Box in different Named Locations
This is similar to the challenges for searching one chest at certain named locations, except this time you’ll need to go for ammo boxes. Ammo boxes are everywhere, and often, even if a house or building has been looted, the ammo boxes within haven’t been touched as many people tend to miss them, or just ignore them completely. For this challenge, you’ll need to head to seven different named locations and loot one ammo box from each area. Here is what exactly you’ll be looking for.

Ring the doorbell of a house with an opponent inside in different matches

This challenge can be annoying, but if you get the right kind of opponent, at the beginning of a match, you can both work to progress this challenge. It’s best to do this immediately when you land and at a populated location. Simply wait for an opponent to land on the roof and break into a house (or walk in the front door), then run up and ring the doorbell on the side of the front door and you’ll gain challenge progression. You’re only allowed to get one a match and need a total of three, so simply finish the match, and rinse and repeat for the completion. Here is a map of all the various doorbell locations.

Land at [Location Name]
Each stage of this challenge asks you to land somewhere differently. To add progress to this challenge, you MUST be on a glider when you arrive at the destination. Simply walking into the location will not add progress to your challenge. This doesn’t mean it has to be done at the beginning of the match (though that is the easiest way of completing it), but using a launch pad and flying in at a later time will still count. Finish the match, and the next stage will appear. The first location is Greasy Grove. Wailing Woods is the second. Dusty Divot will be your third destination. Pleasant Park will be the second to last area to visit. Finally, Paradise Palms is the last location required to be landed at before the challenge completes.

Dance on top of a Clock Tower
For the next three stages of challenges, it’s best to head to these locations from the immediate start, as the structures can be destroyed and you won’t be able to earn progress if they are. There is only one clock tower in the entire Fortnite map, and it is located in the southern part of Tilted Towers. Simply land on top of the tower and dance, and the challenge will count. Finish the match to unlock the next tier.

Dance on top of a Pink Tree
The second stage of this challenge wants you to head to a location with a pink tree, land on top of it and dance. This may just be a little more confusing. The only area on the map that holds a pink tree is found in Lucky Landing. The pink tree is the large one protruding out of the middle courtyard. Simply land on top of this tree and dance. This is the same tree that holds a chest inside of it. Finish the match and you’ll unlock the final tier.

Dance on top of a Giant Porcelain Throne
For the final stage in this series of challenges, you’re going to need to dance on a giant Porcelain Throne. If that isn’t enough of a hint already, you’re going to want to head down to Flush Factory. The giant toilet on the pole is where you’re going to want to land and dance to finish the challenge and earn your stars.

Get a score of 3 or more at different Shooting Galleries
Here is an interesting challenge. Players are required to head to five different Shooting Galleries located around the map and score 3 or more points on each one. What makes this challenge fun is that you also need to deal with any opposition that may interfere with your progress. First up, let’s identify what a shooting gallery looks like. A shooting gallery will have a scoreboard somewhere, with a sign that shows a person shooting a target. Near those two items, you’ll see a pressure plate that looks like a manhole cover with foot imprints. You’ll need to stand on the pressure plate and turn your camera to shoot various targets that pop up. The yellow number on the scoreboard tracks how many targets you presently have, while the white indicates the high score. Simply get three targets or more, and the challenge will progress.

Next, you’ll need to identify exactly where the targets are positioned. Here is a map of every Shooting Gallery location and helpful information for some locations.

East of Risky Reels – Starting plate is on a hill, targets are just under the hill in plain sight.
Eastern Wailing Woods – Starting Plate is near the area with the downed tree and the RV next to it. Targets surround the plate, and players must turn and shoot at various targets.
West of Dusty Divot Diner – Starting plate is in a field next to a downed truck. Targets spawn in the small set of trees to the southwest of the plate.
North of Pleasant Park – Starting plate is just north of Pleasant Park, targets are spread out around the plate.
West of the Desert Diner – Starting plate is in the desert area on top of the hill. This hill is just south of the corrupted area near Retail Row. Starting plate is on top of the hill. Targets appear all around the plate.
Eliminate opponents near any of the Corrupted Areas
There are a total of seven different corrupted areas on the Fortnite Battle Royale map. For this challenge, you simply need to eliminate three opponents in any corrupted area. The challenge is progressive, which means if you happen to eliminate two opponents and end up dying, the two eliminations are saved. You’ll want to land somewhere close to a corrupted zone such as a town to grab a weapon and shields before heading to the corrupted area. Here are the locations of all corrupted areas.

Fortnite Season Six: Week Three Challenges Guide

Fortnite Season Six: Week Three Challenges Guide

We have arrived in week three of Fortnite Battle Royale season six. This week sees a variety of different challenges, but whether you consider any of these unique is completely up to you. The challenges are both about exploration and decimation. All but one challenge has been presented at least once before in the previous five seasons. There is one unique comedic challenge that can easily be completed with  squadmates or a downed opponent. Here are your challenges for week three.

Revive a player in different matches
This challenge requires you to revive players five times in different matches. Previous challenges of this sort simply asked you to revive players, but now you may only revive one player per match, which means you’ll need to play a total of five matches to complete this challenge. Playing the game as normal in Duos, Squads, or 50v50 should net you the challenge over time, but if you want it done as quick as possible, here’s what you do. Grab a friend and head to duos. Land on the corner of the map, farm a few materials and build a ramp 10 levels high. Simply jump off the ramp, and have your teammate revive you. Now have your teammate climb the ramp and jump off, revive him. Play the match as normal till you’re both eliminated. Then simply rinse and repeat.
Stage 1: Search a Chest in Lonely Lodge
By this point, this type of challenge should be familiar. For the five stages of this challenge, you’re going to want to head to the location and loot one chest. Below you’ll find a treasure map of each location, as well as brief explanations of where the chests are located. The first stage is Lonely Lodge.

Inside the lodge on a balcony/ledge. Break the wall upstairs or build a staircase up to it to access.
Behind a wall in the back of the western room.
Behind a wall opposite the stairs, simply break the upper part of the wall to access.
Under the roof of the western triangle hut. Build up and destroy the roof to access.
Inside of a building directly south of the main lodge. The chest is upstairs in a room behind a metal shelf.
On top of the cliff on the western end of the area, next to some tents and an old campfire.
Inside of a cave directly beneath the western cliff.
Under the roof of the southern triangle hut. Build up and destroy the roof to access.
In the middle of the tower, destroy a wooden support to access.
Top of the tower behind the lookout building.
Inside the lookout building on a shelf.
Under the roof of the eastern triangle hut. Build up and destroy the roof to access.

Stage 2: Search a Chest in Retail Row

On top of the water tower.
Behind the bar.
2nd floor of the bookstore. Go through the door and turn left, it’s in a corner.
2nd floor of the fishing store. Go through the door and hang a right. Alternatively, you can reach this chest by landing in between the bookstore and the fishing store and going through a door as well.
Inside of the truck parked here.
Inside the detective agency on a desk.
After destroying the garage in the back of the food market, it’ll be above you on a metal shelf. Can be easily accessed by building stairs on the outside and destroying the wall.
In the far left side of the food market.
In the attic of the northern white house.
Above the garage of the northern white house.
Above the garage of the red brick house.
In the attack of the red brick house.
Located at the very top of the destroyed house. Destroy the roof to access it.
In the basement of the destroyed house in a small room behind a wooden crate.
In the attic of the balcony house.
In the room straight ahead of you upon reaching the 2nd floor from the stairs in the balcony house. The chest will be behind the door as soon as you walk in.

Damage Trap Eliminations
This challenge shouldn’t come as a surprise as it’s been a part of the battle pass challenges once almost every season. Thankfully this challenge isn’t anywhere near as annoying as it used to be. For the challenge, don’t make this any harder than it needs to be. Head to Duos or Squads, loot until you find a damage trap. Now down an opponent, build a wall near him and place a trap. The trap will eliminate him instantly and you’ll get credit. Simply finish the match and the challenge is finished. Here’s the item to keep a look out for.

Stage 1: Visit Risky Reels and Wailing Woods in a single match
The next five stages of challenges require no real effort. Simply visit the two named locations in one match, and you’ll finish that stage of the challenge. After doing so, simply finish the match and the next stage will appear in your challenge list. For the first stage, players are challenged to visit Risky Reels and Wailing Woods in the same match. This is simple as both are right next to each other.

Stage 2: Visit Paradise Palms and Dusty Divot in a single match
For stage two, you’ll need to visit Paradise Palms and Dusty Divot in the same match. Dusty isn’t far from Paradise, but there is a lot of open areas. The best course of action here is to start at Paradise Palms, land in the city, then find a rift and fly to Dusty Divot. You only need to get in the vicinity of Dusty Divot for the challenge to give progress. Now complete the match as normal.

Stage 3: Visit Greasy Grove and Leaky Lake in a single match
It might seem logical to land at Greasy Grove first, but quite the contrary, if you land at the factories on the left side of Leaky Lake and then head towards the left side of the outside of Tilted Towers towards Greasy Grove, you’ll have an easier time. Greasy Grove is a far more popular landing site, and getting out alive after landing here first could prove difficult, this is why it’s best to do these locations opposite.

Stage 4: Visit Lucky Landing and Tilted Towers in a single match
Lucky Landing isn’t nearly as popular as Tilted Towers so it’s the better option for landing at first. Not only that, the spot where the road from the desert ends just east of Lucky Landing has a truck hanging off it, and more often than not, a rift spawns here. This can help give you some distance towards getting to Tilted Towers. You’ll most likely land near the corrupted zone just under Salty Springs. Run the rest of the way or consider collecting a Rift-to-Go or launch pad to get you the rest of the distance. A word of warning, unlike almost every other location in this challenge, Tilted Towers requires players to be almost inside the city itself before the challenge counts. Make sure you see the progress bar come up, and then finish the match.

Stage 5: Visit Snobby Shores and Salty Springs in a single match
The final stage has you visiting both Snobby Shores and Salty Springs in a single match. For this challenge, it’s best to start by landing at Snobby Shores and make your way east to Salty Springs. The reason for this is that after hitting Snobby Shores, you can climb up the mountain towards the Viking Village, and take a rift towards Salty Springs. Doing this stage the opposite way would require you to cross the death stream near Shifty Shafts and Tilted Towers. After visiting both locations in the one match, finish the match and you’ll have finished all exploration stages. Well done!

Hit a player with a Tomato 15m away or more
The unique challenge of week three tasks players with hitting a player with a tomato from 15m away or further. This is a battle pass challenge for a reason, as before you can even complete the challenge, you’ll need to have unlocked the Tomato emote which unlocks at tier 28. After unlocking the emote, equip it in one of your emote slots. There are three ways you can do this challenge. Play a match with a friend in Duos, land on the outer edge of the map and try to throw a Tomato at each other. You could also throw Tomatoes at teammates standing still in 50v50 and try to get the challenge that way. Finally, you could down an enemy and try to tomato them from a distance, which is funnier, but riskier. The left side of the screen which shows the kill feed will tell you the distance at which your tomato hit somebody. Just make sure the distance is 15m or more and you’ll get your progress. Simply finish the match and the challenge is completed.

Complete timed trials
Similar to season four, semi-transparent stopwatches are located around the map. Once you find one, Interact with it by holding X and it will activate the time trial challenges. Simply collect all the stopwatches in the vicinity to finish the challenge. Some trials are easier than others, having you run and build a small amount to collect each stopwatch. Others are harder and require you to build higher up, making you an easier to spot from a distance. The easiest timed trials are located at the bridge right below Shifty Shafts, the old rocket base to the northeast of Snobby Shores, and the one on the cliff southwest of Salty Springs. The timed trial on the cliff above Tilted Towers to the south requires a lot of building upward and makes you an easy target to the city below, as with the one in Tomato Temple.

Eliminate an opponent in different matches
For the final challenge this week, you must eliminate 10 opponents in different matches. This means you are required to get at least one kill each match. Combining this alongside the challenge to revive five players across different matches can help complete both of these quickly. This challenge is the simple mechanics of the game that are done every match. If you’re not as confident on eliminating opponents, 50v50 makes for a great mode to complete this challenge as many times, enemies stand still or don’t react by building a fortress when they are shot, making for easy targets.
